WOOD CRATES

When you require product protection and securement during shipping,  Roy’s Woodshop has the experience and knowledge to build custom crating for your company needs. With over 30 years of building crates, Roy’s Woodshop will ensure your crates are built to withstand the demands of shipping, whether you need heavy or light duty crates.

Products that are protected properly in the wood crates with metal banding and blocking will not move during transport. There are many ways of protecting your package in the crate after it is properly secured with cardboard, plastic wrap and rubber. This will ensure your products get delivered the way you intended them to, intact and undamaged.

Our crates consist of a combination of 1×4’s, 1×6’s, 2×2’s, 2×4’s, 2×6’s, 3×3’s and 4×4’s along with 1/2″, 5/8″ or 3/4″ plywood. Even weight distribution and a solid deck are crucial. The crate is only truly finished and ready to protect your product once the lid has been properly fitted and placed.

IPPC ISPM 15 certification markings (if required) will be stenciled onto the crates. We can also add other markings to the crates to give them a personal touch.
