New Wood Pallets
Roy’s Woodshop prides itself on offering the best service and quality when building your company’s new pallets. We work with the best wood suppliers to ensure we have a steady and reliable lumber supply, so we have the inventory to build your pallets in the most common sizes so they are ready to go in the event you have an emergency or rush order. Service is everything to Roy’s Woodshop.
Our distinct product line enables us to build your pallets from various wood species. Spruce, Pine and Fir (SPF) is typically used for our Heat Treated (HT) pallets. Our HT pallets follow the guidelines set out in the IPPC ISPM-15 which enables the pallets to be used for international shipping.
IPPC ISPM 15 HT Wood Kits
Roy’s Woodshop is certified to build and sell heat treated wood kits that are in accordance to the ISPM 15 guidelines. If your business needs specialized wood kits for international shipping, Roy’s Woodshop is certified to build them and will ensure they are properly stamped and marked pursuant to ISPM 15 regulations. Heat treated wood packaging kits and loose dunnage are regulated materials under these ISPM 15 rules and therefore, they must meet specific certification requirements to be shipped internationally.
When shopping Canadian goods across Canada and into the United States are that the wood packaging kits and wood materials are exempt. However, the ISPM 15 rules apply when shipping internationally including Mexico. All wood kits and wood shipping materials will be properly stamped with the internationally recognized IPPC markings, which indicate the country of origin and treatment method used.

Recycled Pallets
We carry a huge inventory of recycled pallets that have been repaired and refurbished. They are ready for immediate delivery. We carry different grades and styles of 48”x40” pallets in addition to other sizes and styles to fit every customer’s shipping requirements. Firewood
We have a great selection of SPF firewood. We offer it by the bag, ½ cord pallets or by the half ton truck load. All our Firewood is kiln dried and cut to the perfect size for your backyard and camping needs.
Dunnage
Roy’s Woodshop carries a wide range of different sized dunnage. If you need a specific size and length of dunnage, we will custom cut wedges or lengths to fit your needs. Hauling pipe or spools of iron coils? We will have your dunnage needs covered. We can sell dunnage by the lift and deliver right to your business.
Wood Crates
When you require product protection and securement during shipping, Roy’s Woodshop has the experience and knowledge to build custom crating for your company needs. With over 30 years of building crates, Roy’s Woodshop will ensure your crates are built to withstand the demands of shipping, whether you need heavy or light duty crates.
Products that are protected properly in the wood crates with metal banding and blocking will not move during transport. There are many ways of protecting your package in the crate after it is properly secured with cardboard, plastic wrap and rubber. This will ensure your products get delivered the way you intended them to, intact and undamaged.
Our crates consist of a combination of 1×4’s, 1×6’s, 2×2’s, 2×4’s, 2×6’s, 3×3’s and 4×4’s along with 1/2″, 5/8″ or 3/4″ plywood. Even weight distribution and a solid deck are crucial. The crate is only truly finished and ready to protect your product once the lid has been properly fitted and placed.
IPPC ISPM 15 certification markings (if required) will be stenciled onto the crates. We can also add other markings to the crates to give them a personal touch.
Custom Cut Lumber
Whether you need custom cut lumber to replace deck boards for your pallets, or you work tirelessly in the Canadian oil patch, you can depend on Roy’s Woodshop to supply you with any length you need. We have the capability to cut whole lifts of lumber or individual cuts depending on your specific needs. We carry rough lumber and dimensional SPF in stock.
Sawdust
We have sawdust made from kiln dried SPF for sale. This sawdust works great for animal bedding or as an absorbent in the oilfield. It also works well for reclamation and land cover. We can deliver the sawdust to your door from quantities of 10 cubic meter to 140 cubic meter loads.
